LLENTAB is a Swedish company founded by Leif Lindblad (Leif Lindblad Entreprenad AB) in 1972. From initially producing standardized steel storage buildings, the company has evolved into a company with a building concept that produces buildings of any size according to the customer’s needs. The structure is produced at the LLENTAB production units in Kungshamn, Sweden, and Gdansk in Poland – which has delivered millions of cubic meters of space for warehousing, production, agriculture, sports, office space, and retail since it began 50 years ago. To say that ”LLENTAB is on top of things” is no overstatement.

Today LLENTAB Group, with its headquarters in Sweden, operates through its subsidiaries in Sweden, Norway, Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Ukraine. But LLENTAB buildings are also exported beyond Europe. A recent example of this is the substantial order of prefabricated steel buildings to Africa for several mega solar energy plants in Angola. This was a joint project with a group of international companies and with the Angolan Government as the customer.

”This is an interesting market for us. We have primarily focused on delivery our buildings on our home markets, complete with assembly. But with more than 20 buildings completed in Angola so far, we see that logistically, our prefab concept works well even on remote markets. It has been done before by LLENTAB but not on this scale. It encourages us to pursue this path, given the potential worldwide” says LLENTAB’s Group CEO Stefan Eklund.

LLENTAB 50th anniversary - press release

All production, now and in the future, must have a focus on sustainability. Great for LLENTAB and its customers, as the focus from the very beginning has always been on efficient, sustainable design. The smart galvanized steel frame solutions reduce the steel required by up to 20%, compared to similar frame constructions, without compromising strength or stability. Through its generic design and high-quality components, a LLENTAB building is recyclable and simple to disassemble and reassemble at a new location, keeping it in use for the next generation.

Stefan Eklund concludes: ”Looking towards the next 50 years, we will continue to develop LLENTAB. With a strong concept, decades of experience, and with present and future partners, we will provide ideal steel buildings for businesses and society, with new features and flexibility”.
