LLENTAB AB is now certified according to EN 1090-1, a European standard for the design and manufacturing of structures made of steel.
During the autumn, the company A3Cert has performed audits that have led toLLENTABABnow being certified according to EN 1090-1. This means that LLENTAB as the first hall manufacturer inSwedencan apply the CE mark on all building kits it delivers. In line with this certification, all structural components in LLENTAB's buildings are designed and manufactured according to the new European norms that apply throughoutEurope. This certification, both for design and manufacture, also includes LLENTAB Sp.z.o.o inPoland.
In order to achieve EN 1090-1 certification, we have been hard at work during the past year to adapt our processes to the requirements on design and manufacture.
This of course means that we maintain very high, documented quality on our products by producing the structures according to the new European standards, which apply inSwedenand the rest ofEurope, and by applying quality assurance both in the design phase and the manufacturing phase.
According to Stefan Lindblad, CEO, by being the first manufacturer of prefabricated buildings able to CE mark the entire framework, this feels like we give the client a clear measure of the quality we want to offer. It also opens up more possibilities of finding new markets in the future since the European norms apply throughoutEurope, and once a product is CE marked it can be sold freely in all EU and EFTA countries.
Since LLENTAB operates its own manufacturing facilities of all structural components, it goes without saying that the product we supply to the customer should be of the highest quality possible. Now that our products are CE marked, we underscore the fact that we have a quality assurance system that achieves this.
