History

Some of our early LLENTAB Buildings
Strong steel constructions built on good
ideas
In 1972, Leif Lindblad founded his company, Leif Lindblad
Entreprenad AB, then, a traditional construction company. But as
the company grows new opportunities appear.
Leif Lindblad soon receives a growing number of inquiries for
warehouses in sheet metal. When his entrepreneurial spirit
tells him there must be a better solution, he and his partners
tried different ideas and started to experiment with new
constructions. In 1977, the attempts resulted in
LLENTABHALLEN.
This early version, called the LLENTAB hall, consisted of arch
halls in aluminium intended for machine rooms, garages, and storage
halls. At this time, operations are moved to Kungshamn in the heart
of Bohuslän at the Swedish west coast.
In the early '80s, the LLENTAB hall is developed and a more
traditional steel building with straight walls and saddle roofs
take shape. The great adaptability offered by the new product
opened for a new, much larger market.
As the market grows, the LLENTAB concept continues to develop and
attract an increasing demand thanks to its quality and efficient
production process. In 1987, LLENTAB opens its first subsidiary
outside Sweden, in Bergen, Norway. Then Poland, Germany, Czech
Republic, Denmark, Ukraine, and Slovakia followed.
Today, LLENTAB is the Swedish market leader for complete steel
buildings and a growing actor in the international market. The
offer also includes buildings with walls made of sandwich
panels.
